Oh my goodness you remind me so so much of myself! I used to be in the exact same place and was so obsessed with looking like the “typically fit” person (ie super ripped, obvious abs ect) and went to such extremes only to be met with disappointment 95% of the time. I don’t believe in making excuses and I 100% believe I’m capable of getting to that “ideal” aesthetic. It’s not ‘cause of my metabolism or body type BUT getting to that type of body is simply not healthy for me mentally. Therefore I decided to let go of the aesthetic obsession. And here’s the thing: WHY and when did fitness become all about aesthetics?? It’s about caring for yourself and being strong! I definitely still struggle with body image from time to time but once I stopped focusing on aesthetics and started focusing on how I felt and progressing my actual strength it changed my life to be honest! My fitness journey is at its best rn because of my mindset! One thing that really made me reflect (saying this here ‘cause ik you’re a Christian girl and so am I) is that I felt my obsession become somewhat of an idol. I never got to the point where fitness was replacing God but it took over a HUGE part of my mind and I felt as though I was living for fitness vs living for Christ which was NOT where I wanted/want to be!
Just wanted to let you know you’re definitely not alone and that I appreciate having someone who I feel is walking along side me in a way!

just watched your beauty secrets video from over a year ago and I also struggle with keratosis pilaris on my arms and legs. It is probably the thing I am most self concious about and I was wondering if you have found anything that helps reduce the bumps instead of covering them up? I have tried so many lotions and oils and nothing seems to work for me.
