It was a pleasure to watch Denise again. I used to use her videos and DVDs in late 90s. Since then I taught aerobics and singing. I'm in my 60s and still very active. I run 2x during my workouts. They are cardio bursts called HIIT. In between I do stretches , plies, squats, leg raises and interesting stomach exercises. After menopause we women need to use arm and ankle weights, dumbbells, resistance cords. Slow is better than fast except running or walking. Never be huffing and puffing. I use interesting funky music. Music can help you so much! Keeps us young!

Hi Denise, I am 60 years old. I have osteoporosis and these exercises that you provide are perfect for me. I feel so good. I do these everyday 5 days a week on my 10-minute break at work, morning and afternoon. I do the cardio and then I do the abs. On Saturdays I do back to back. I want to say thank you. I am so grateful to AARP and you for getting me back in to shape. Keep up the good work and again thank you both

You are an answer to the person that is tentative in doing exercise maybe after having a baby or someone who hasn't exercised much for a long time or has stiffness in their back. I really appreciate how kind and considerate and encouraging you lead the class. I suddenly have creeping back and leg pain. It travels from one part to the other, sometimes goes away then comes back. This workout is so perfect. It keeps me from babying myself. Thank you. Emily
