It doesn't matter how old you are, there are 6 mistakes you MUST avoid when it comes to building muscle. https://youtu.be/330Ufcaj1zA
NO ESTOY DE ACUERDO
Thanks a lot for this video. All things mentioned are really true. I am 48 with 15% BFat and I am working out smart as you mentioned and gaining muscle mass in a sustainable way. One important thing also, is the quality of sleep. We all have stress due to our jobs etc.. but it’s important to have tjis quality and at least 7 hours of sleep per day, to be able to be ready the next morning and full of energy. Keep posting 💪
I keep waiting for “Hey Lucy!!”
dont do warmups dont do cooldowns im 59 id be fucked
You forgot to mention recovery time
Great sharing 😄
I couldn't agree more. I'll be 77 soon and I'm still training. I find that being strong and fit helps me in just about every aspect of my life. You don't have to retreat to the sofa and daytime TV once you retire!
Hi Jeff, I'm 75 a retired horse jockey who has exercised regularly since I was 19 Two of my many goals are to still be driving and riding my motorcycle at 95 or longer, to live healthy and taking care of myself in my own home at 100 and one more… I plan to be the oldest person to ever compete on American Ninja Warrior…. be watching for me soon. Cheers and thanks for all the good advice. One more thing… the power of the mind… when I was 26 I decided I would live to be over 100… that I don't get sick… the mind will direct you on how to live your life if you give it a goal.
Im 40, look 30, feel like im 20, I act like im 10
What about stretching before or after a workout?
I'm 36 so Is it Good to start now to still benefit me when I reach 40 ?
I'm 40 and I love all this advice. Just an awesome set of videos and information!
I'm 50 and feeling very pleased with my training of weights and martial arts…getting the "Transporter" physique!!!

thanks for your wisdom , you are consistent if anything , )
Sometime could you explain (or maybe you already have) the differences in protein powders. I tried using crappy Aldi whey protein powder and my body did not appreciate it. I have now been using my wife"s pea protein from Sprouts and I can digest it much better. Just a thought.
Great stuff!
im 120 and feel like a 20 lol
Great video.
Why is it that nobody ever mentions collagen as an important supplement for older people?
It's usually thought of as a beauty product because it holds your skin together, but it also holds together your bones, tendons, muscles, and organs, and the body steadily loses its ability to produce it with age. It seems like something that anyone over 30 ought to be taking, and it might even help younger people if they're training really hard.
Use it or loose it! Oh how I wish I'd taken notice of that advice in my 30s.
Almost 59 ! Did ax1,ax2 couldn’t pass last test discovered a small rotator cuff tear! Bummer ! Surgery , started over just doing 4 main lifts slowly, slowly!
I’m a 41 year old that has been training Muay Thai since I was 9 years old but I let myself go the last 3 years and it’s the warm ups that tire me out more than than building strength. I’ve have so much appreciation and love for your videos.
My doctor says that I'm de-conditioned and that I can't do certain Cardio so thanks! Jeff for the spot.
