      The best way I've found to help a beginner pull with their back and not their arms is to imagine there is somebody standing behind you and try to elbow them…sounds strange but if you try it it works and it's very effective.

      Hey, great video! One thing I'd like to add is you should try to give the beginners and idea of what muscles they want to kind of focus on working, because you could do those work outs and be using the wrong muscles. I've done it before and was corrected and now I'm getting the proper gains on the proper muscles during these kinds of movements. It also helps them get an idea of that "mind muscle connection" with the proper muscles in mind =D great video either way man.

      my buddy claims that you're doing everything wrong because you're not on a 1000 Calorie a day diet like he is. the guy eats a can of tuna and some asparagus once a day. I went to him seeking in person workout advice, although I mainly go to your videos it's nice to have a guide here now person, and he told me that I need to stop taking your advice because there's no other way to get cut and lean unless you only eat once a day and no more than 1000calories. said if I take supplements like pre workouts and all the cellucore stuff that I'll never make any progress. needless to say, I don't work out with him anymore.

      Another tip I like when training back for certain pulling exercises such as lat pulldown or rows is to imagine trying to squish a grape in between my shoulder blades. It helps be focus on really working my back compared to arms like Baj mentioned. Also if you have a gym buddy have them put their fingers in the middle of your back while you're doing your lifts, it will help you stay focused and pull your shoulder blades together.

      Hey Baj, do you have any tips on deadlifts? I started my workout off with them last night and my lower back was shot for the whole workout, and I couldn't focus. I'm thinking about trying sumo deads next time
