The best exercise for plus size women is the “push away” from the table, works every time.
well done- good instruction-
Hey Scott, my sister is very over weight and she in the past has had some back surgery and recently in the last 12 months had a hip replacement. My question is, what exercise can/could she do to lose weight in legs and butt ?. Can you suggest any videos on her to help her with this?. For she is worried not to hurt hip or back but seriously needs to lose weight.
@1:40
THANK YOU! ! I've been in several boot camps but they seem to think we're all a size 2 and all at the same fitness level. I got through it but didn't get real results because I had to keep stopping.
Started your workout today. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you
Hiya, what timer app is that? ?
Thanks
thank you 🙂
This is really awesome. I had gastric bypass surgery in September but I'm still a large woman so I need the kind of exercises that work for big people <3
Thank you, this is an awesome video and a great beginner workout. What kind of timer can I get to beep when it's time to rest? I really want to make this part of my day.
Thank you very much!
This is an amazing find for me. I kept looking for beginner workout as I am larger and am just getting into exercise after losing 78lbs (with more to go) but all of the ones I found were not suitable for someone who was going from practically no exercise to starting out. This was super helpful. I just did it for the first time, but instead of the 30 seconds, I did each for a minute and didn't have as much of a breather.. I can't wait to do this often and build up my fitness levels so that I can do things more intensely. 🙂
would this be a good thing to do in the morning jsut to get everything going? (that and plenty of water of course)
Loved the workout! It's so important for everybody to stay healthy and fit. Those who have not worked out in awhile should take gradual steps to this healthier lifestyle.
I'm plus size. I am also a dancer. I'm not obese. But I am not fit either. The smallest I could probably get is a large. Not all plus size.people need a lazy exercise…. I run, box, and dance. Not all plus size.people are lazy.
Thank you so much for this video! And for being so kind. I found out I was 311 pounds last Thursday and I was shocked. I have made an apt with a dietitian but its not for another 2 weeks so until then I wish to take matters into my own hands. Thanks again.
First off thank you for saying plus size and not fat. And thank you for this video. I do this 4 times a day and for 2 weeks and I have lost 6 lbs. thanks for your kindness!
Sure is right. we must kill the bad fat and belly first to get the 6 pack. Listen in a best female model 2012 exclusive interview she had mentioned about her strong abs with this 7 food items. you can see it here bit.ly/14SrrS5?=grffi
Yes, you can be overweight and in 'good' condition. It sounds like you can push things harder and try a more aggressive workout.
hi im 13 5'9 and 260 ibs i know thats terrible. but i was expecting this to be more rigorous. i can run a mile in 11:10 seconds. i feel like i am so out of shape and stuff but maybe for my size im in good shape i still wanna lose weight but this made me feel better
Thank you so much for myself and folks like me that will run across your videos in the future!
I look forward to seeing more. God bless you.
Hey there, have you tried Bellyfattack yet? Simply search on Google. On there you will see a valuable free video presentation by a well accredited medical professional talking about the right way to eliminate extra fat. This made it possible for David to get rid of his stomach fat. I hope it will help you too…
thanks… i was was looking for something to follow up… im super lazy… im not overweight but sure i can use some exercise routine instead of nothing… again thanks for your videos… ! ^_^
You could ride a recumbent bike for starters. Why not use weights? It's one of the best things that you could do for yourself.
Thank you! I bet you won't answer this question but for those plus size people who can't use their feet correctly (I have a chronic injury), what other exercises can one do? Also, what can one use instead of weights?
Thanks for that beginner workout. It really got me going. I'm not plus but heading there and you workout Ed timely. I will support u
Yay! I'm telling all my plus size friends…. this is so hard to find <3
this is the first video i have seen that the trainer doesn't use the word obese, wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can actually do these exercises! Maybe there IS hope for me after all!
Thank so much for the encouragement. Most trainers don't have a clue how hard it is to get started when carrying a lot of extra weight. Regular fitness classes are so discouraging. You seem to have a really good grasp of what we're up against. So nice to have a realistic starting point.
I'm SOOO glad I found you !!!! Thanks for what you do !!!
Thanks for posting this video! Everyone needs to start somewhere and this seems like a good, safe way to incorporate daily activity.
For some reason all workout videos are for skinny people that believes its fat, and must worouts are for them, so imagine how happy I was when I ran into this page. Im overweight for about 80 pounds and you give motivation to start working out thank you!!!
Thanks.
Thanx so much. I'll do that.
I was wondering. I am 29 and 358. I workout at home for now but, the next day after the workout I am in so much pain. It hurts like hell and I really do feel the burn. I getting ready to start at a gym and I don't want to end up in a full body case. What should I do so I won't end up in so much pain afterwards? Thanx. Oh yeah, and I'm starting the gym membership this evening. HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!
i only do a bit of home exercises because it gets boring exercising by yourself and not having a friend to compete with you or family member :
my sister has M.S. and it causes her to not be able to work out too well because of the heat.
THIS IS AMAZING .. I WILL DO THIS FOR SURE ..
THANK YOU SO MUCH ..
Hihi, have you considered the Fat Blast Lifestyle? (go search google). My mom says it helps people burn fat.
Gymboss has a Free app for this timer. Pretty neat 🙂 Thanks for the video!
Great job on this video….I appreciate your work on it. I am 54, obese, and also suffer with multiple sclerosis so my balance is affected by both. Thanks Scott!!!
I'm a Male Teen. I'm about 5'9'.6 and I wigh about 255.2 lbs. my workouts are about 16 to about 20 mintues long I do some UFC workouts and some pull ups My goal is to be 190 lbs. by the end of the year
I wish you the absolute BEST on y our weight loss journey! Stay strong!
Thank you!
I am a female, 5'9.5 and roughly 245 lbs. I've lost 20 lbs over the past weeks doing one of 6 different zumba dvds (plus one other dance dvd) twice a day. I also walk most nights and do pushups and crunch variations 3-7 days a week. Is this enough variation in my workout, or if I keep doing just this workout, will I be at risk of plateau?
Thank you so much for posting this…all the other videos that came up in my search for exercise for the obese just had lots of talking. You showed concrete examples! I love it! I have 300 lbs to lose and can't do anything on the floor or on my back. Even walking for more than 5 minutes or so is very painful. Please post more!! I really, really, really, really appreciate it!
I loved the video! I changed it a bit for my self though I did 2 min and then rested 20 sec. Thank you! 🙂 Subscribing!
Great video. Thank you for posting it. My mom and I are both trying to loose weight. Someone gave us an 'easy' workout dvd. We tried it… It might be easy for someone who doesn't have knee and back problems but not for a really large person, I couldn't make it through 2 min at the pace they had. So, again, thank you for some good truly beginner exercises.
