      Trainers often suggest regressing pushups by doing them from your knees, I think a good, probably better regression pushup method is to do them with hands on a raised surface..e.g. step..or even against a wall.

      As a certified fitness trainer (NASM, TRX), I never suggest plyo pushups. Its inviting shoulder dysfunction.
