Today I took your advice and wore protection glasses at dawn. Bugs were hitting the lenses as I sped on the trail thanks
Another perfect mixture of educational and entertaining narration in the scenic English countryside.
It's no wonder that the Germans wanted the place.
Thanks for another great video .
shoe cleat position is important also
I just own one hybrid bike which is a commuter, tourer, shopper and cargo bike all in one.
I don't do road riding as in this video. I'm much more into the Dutch style utilitarian idea of cycling and commuting.
But…..
Leonard is a goldmine of unpretentious sensibility.
I get plenty of exercise without trying to be competitive pulling a trailer with up to 70kg load and without owning one piece of lycra.
Some of the admittedly very popular channels presented by pretentious, sanctimonious lycra wearing road warriors practically boils my proverbial but this guy I want to clap on the back.
… riding to a horizont never to be seen again… 🙂
HOURS!!!!!! My goal at this point is 5 miles a day
Can I add for saftety reflectives and a decent (is not tesco) flashing rear light for daytime use, always but always wear a helmet and be massively aware of ice and wet leaves
Excellent. We beginners need all the advice we can get
I been riding lost 30lbs ! And feel so much better
looks like im gonna be starting at max difficulty because i live in a crowded city with tiny roads with vehicles on it 24/7
Marvelous.
Hi Leonard! I'm an adult who has just recently learned how to cycle. Whenever I take my Brompton for a ride, my legs go weak just 5km into it. I never ride on an empty stomach. I also have no underlying health conditions. Do you think my legs just need more training? I love your videos by the way!
Those cinematic shots are alone oscar winning
Thank you Leonard for your tips! im newbieeee… just bought new bike!👌🏼 xx from Indonesia
i have marksman's glasses. yellow ones. my gloves are construction gloves with lots of padding.
Great video. Great advice. Many thanks.
What does British law say about riding completely naked on the countryside? Is it allowed?
It is in Kazakhstan 😜
Gosh this chonk investing in production
Ant tips on preventing sore neck
Cycling feels like eating chocolate, but it’s good for u
Hi Leonard, great motivational videos, love em. Keep it up . I’d like to get into a club,,,, but it does seem to piss motorists off when they see a whole lane of road taken up by cyclists,,, i know we have the right to ride but I feel safer in my own , don’t you find this on club rides ?
Magnificent scenery at the beginning. Bike shop in the UK appears very pro. We in Hong Kong need to rely on our own very much. No one tells you what your optimum seat height is.
One question, is it true that keep riding on the big crank ring is more efficient as most pro riders are doing.
Just ride.
Rob a bank, itll speed the process of cycling up 😁
Thank you!!!!! I’m just getting into cycling and your video is very informative and makes me feel more confident! 👍🏽❤️
This is now my favourite cycling channel. I'm a novice and I really appreciate the honest, unpretentious advice. Great stuff.
What brand of cycling shorts do you use or suggest? I’m a bit worried on purchasing online because of the sizing inconsistency. I’ve tried a cheap cycling shorts from decathlon of size xxl but the padding feels abit short on the front area. Then I tried a more expensive brand santini, but then the xxl size is too tight and the store doesn’t have a bigger size. Any suggestions?
My tip. Lose some weight!
Thanks you’re inspirational
Bit worried about your frames from around .32 flying through a blind junction not even looking left for traffic on the bend to dash down the side lane
Good video beginners will appreciate! I've also made a video series and playlist about Cycling Tips for Beginners if anyone would like to take a look: https://youtu.be/ruC2wxfjDfo
Getting enough sustenance – try ketones. Marathon runners do this. They use the body fat reserves as an energy source. You have to get the body used to switching from glucose use to ketone use. I have gone on cycle rides – admittedly only for an hour or so – on the 12th day of a 12 day water fast. It's what the fat is there for – to provide energy when there is nothing to eat.
Thankyou for a great vid. Some excellent tips .
