As a person who can do a dragon squat but not a pistol squat, yes
I'm quite large but I've recently been practicing the pistol squat. It hurts but now I can do 5 squats with minimal assist! Little bit everyday. I used to not be able to squat much ever. But after watching your stuff I built enough to deep squat over 50 reps and now I'm going to the next challenge. Thank you!

Because the good Lord decided to put all the strength He was going to give me in my legs, I got the pistol squat down fairly quickly. However, every time I'd try the dragon squat, I end up falling all over myself.
I can hardly wait to get started.
am I weird? I can do both, but a dragon squat is actually so much easier for me to an almost shocking degree. I think it all comes down to my balance. throwing one leg out in front of me puts my balance all out of whack and it feels like Im gonna tip over, but turning sideways keeps my weight evenly distributed and I just go down

Query: I'm flexible and fit, informed. My lower ribs [near flat ribs turn to rear facing ribs]. pop into spasms and mild cramp. What improves this? Rotating and contracting abdominal can cause the cramp. Massage/vibrator to alleviate. (Added this to a few videos for possible attention, sorry for the spam, I am quite curious for an answer. I personally am devoted to a hardcore training path of breathework and flexibility and really enjoy your perspective. Thanks)
