Do you include total carbs and not just net carbs in your meal plans?
Do you start by planning Dinner, then Lunch, then Breakfast so your macro counts are calculated correctly each day, when meal planning? This is the area I struggle in.
for some reason, hitting 64 has made EVERYTHING complicated. Keto is not working…and PLANNING seems impossible so having stuff on hand is so crucial to "wing it" daily lifestyle.
So complicated. We just automated our meals. Eggs and sausage or bacon for breakfast, huge salad with protein for lunch. Meat and steamed veggies for dinner.
If I have time, am bored and feel motivated, I will make a recipe or a keto dessert. I find meal planning and searching recipes like that just makes me overly obsessed with food.
Why do you work out twice a day?
Thanks for your videos, just starting on my Keto journey. You're inspiring me and I know this will be a great transition for my husband and me!
I'm glad I don't have to do family meals on keto, it's just me and still I have to plan ahead and cook ahead in order to keep on track. I always cook my planned protein, and cut up veggies for the week, and also have a little cold chicken, boiled eggs or tuna fish prepared. Usually if I have leftovers I'll toss in all in a freezer bag and make soup out of it for the next week. I have some "peanut butter cups" on hand all the time and 1 dessert like a custard or cheesecake, so one or the other will last a few weeks. I make crackers about every 3 weeks. Can't stand "keto bread" recipes, I'll just use purchased low-carb tortillas or I'll make a Carbquick biscuit or pancake if I feel like something bready. I don't like counting carbs, and don't really feel the need since I'm just working with the lowest carb foods anyway, but gotta watch those portions.
I am a single lady 60 year's young . Doctor said my A1C is to high . I am currently on 3 different medications for type 2 diabetes . It is hard to cook for just 1 person . Do you have KETO recipe's for small amount's and a meal plan ?
I’m so stuck!! Long ago I did the Atkins and only kept track of my carb count. I lost weight, no problem! Now I’m having a hard time! Do I HAVE to track anything other than carbs? I don’t why I never did before and lost weight, but now it’s just not happening. And I eat less now than I did then. 🤷🏻♀️ I noticed that you have to do it by a percentage as well. Seems like such a pain to have to count fat, protein , calories and carbs and then so the math for it. Not that I’m not good at math, I am, but what a hassle! 🤨 And I can’t find a free app for that anyway. Please help! 🙏🏼 Thank you!
Thanks Annie, I always love your recipes, and I have never learned how to track macros. When I was keto 6 years ago, all of the gadgets were not available and not much information either. But I did lose weight! Now after a year of having too many carbs, I need to start again. I'll try your meal system and the meal plan! Is it better to start on the 1st of the month? Thanks.

I , we all, appreciate your tips and recipes🥰 I am low carb, never again Hard core Keto, my first round of Keto/Adkins years ago after several months i had kidney and bladder issues from so much protein , so low carb is best for me👍🏻 and sugar is my evil villain👹so I am using keto as a good base but I add 40 carbs. Not always but there are there if I need it, low,low, LOW sugar if any at all, and root veggies are not eaten.
