I was thinking about all this stuff today! I've really struggled with lack of glute activation mainly for hip thrusts/bridges. It's all quad and knee pain. When I do them with just a band I do get some glute activation, but once I use weights it's purely quads. I also have very weak hip flexors so I'm definitely going to try these out and see if they help.
