"You buy once, you cry once." You should market that. If not, can I take it?
16 minute video and not a single wasted word
Meal prepping seems like the only efficient way to run a house hold and to do it in a nutritional way.
Thanks for this video.
Can’t believe you have 720k followers I’ve been along the ride since around 2k. Thanks for all the tips!
I bought the 5 dish rectangle meal prep dishes from Walmart with the silicone around it, and they stack amazingly! About 35 per kit, varied colors, microwave and dishwasher safe, hell even oven safe! (Not the lid obviously)
Anchor & Hocking does make some containers with a snap lids. I use them and totally like them
Fab video!
Great if you're single. Married with 4 kids is different
Simple NO SHIT info. Great and well understood. Thanks

As someone from Boston. I chuckled at the $25. Man eating out in Boston is nuts. Stay home kids. LOL
Thanks for this vid. I found it really interesting and helpful. I'll make sure to apply some of this !
I just started eating healthier and meal prepping and I’m not kidding when I say this channel is going to save my life
The best! Love the style of presenting the facts. Down to the point and just no fuzz around it.
""sandwich bread"" is mass produced product designed to imitate bread. It is a form of cake that keeps the moisture low to prevent spoilage. It is also very soft.
Bread is much simpler, and no preservatives.
People tend to think that plastic cutting boards are the easiest to keep clean because you can put them in the dishwasher, unlike wood.
Actually, plastic tends to be the yuckiest kind of cutting board, according to research by the University of Michigan and another study done by the University of Wisconsin. Every time you use one, the knife leaves tiny little cuts in the plastic. This makes a nice home for bacteria to grow in.
So, don't throw a plastic cutting board in the dishwasher, because it may not sanitize all of crevices. Give it a good scrub with hot soap and water to get into the nooks.
"gotta watch the dolphins lose every week"
as a Toronto Maple Leaf fan, I feel you.
…and he's funny!
Great video, clear and well done! Thanks!
I totally agree with you random dude on the Yooooutube!
Thank you, Josh. I've been subscribed to your channel for a while but I had only started out meal prepping about 2 months ago. Lost 6% bodyfat ever since and have never looked back.
i mean in pure money speaking terms yes you save 1,5k $ but you dont take time under the consideration the time investment. assuming that each meal prep takes you only 1h weekly (which is very conservative cause you also have to clean up after prep and the containers you used) that ads up to 52h yearly. that means that if you can stay at work 1h longer and earn at least 28$ for that 1h you would actually save more money by eating out of course more time you spend on prepping and cleaning the less you have to earn to break even also if youre getting paid double for overtime you only have to spend half that time in work or can earn 14$ per hour and still break even plus in addition youre not forced to eat same food for 5 days straight. i agree with diet part being easier to track but not with money saving. tbh acording to my calculations you dont even save money if youre living with spouse. you need at least 3 ppl in house to actually save money by cooking and thats only because you can reduce time of cooking in half asuming 2/3 of you cook and you can buy in bulk alowing you to get some nice discounts. of course my calculations were based on my earnings and prices in my town so they might differ depending on your job and where you live but in most part while living alone its almost never worth to cook from financial standpoint
yooo of course you lived here in brazil, it makes so much more sense now
great as always, Josh!
Why not batch make food and then freeze it in individual freezer bags in a serving size, then take it out on the day you want to eat it. That way, you're not eating the same thing five days in a row
This video really helped
gotta watch the dolphins lose evry week 😂😂
Very clear, straight forward cooking prep info ! Well spoken. So thanks for taking this time to make this video. great job.
Too much effort to do shit in the fridge with different expiration dates… I need freezer recipees, stuff that lasts months.
Biggest problem with eating healthy in my experience is it is so expensive which is sad unless you can grow your own food and raise your own animals
Saving 1500 nowadays is great 👍
Awesome information 😊
Excellent Excellent Excellent vid
I just count my spoonfuls into each tub
I'm looking for a bamboo container because those check off all the qualities I'm looking for. But right now I'm shopping around for meal prep tips to help me make the habit consistent. This video has been the most useful so far!
This is good quality information
Loved the video. Extremely practical with a dose of humor that I enjoyed.
I love your online videos, have you ever thought about putting out a meal prep cookbooks
I’ve just started on my meal prep journey, right now on Sunday night I make a “batch” of whatever and prep 5 containers to eat at work Monday through Friday, so far my biggest regret is being a cheap bastard when it came to my prep bowls, I bought literally the cheapest set of 5 bowls I could find, they are very flimsy and the lids don’t stay on, I’ll be getting some better bowls this weekend
this video was awesome
Thank you a lot for the good tips from this guide, i hope you manage to start designing your own containers because you look like you got the experience and overall ideas. Keep up the good work!
