Tryouts are April 29 😭
I’m so scared of embarrassing myself and my jumps aren’t great. My cheers are fine though. Anyways, wish me luck!

A safety tip from me is NEVER EVERRRRR practice jumps without shoes!!! I sprained my ankle the week of tryouts from not being careful while practicing my jumps😓

Just a helpful tip you want to keep you body up and straight during your toe touch but it may be different for other teams
i’m transferring to a new school and i really wanna try out for the cheer team!! gonna work on my jumps over the summer and tryouts are in the end of august, wish me luck😌😌

i’m only just starting cheer (never done it before ever) but i’ve done synchronized swimming for about three years or so and you really don’t need to be super flexible to do any of these jumps. we would do these as warm ups for flyers and bases on lifts and i was able to do these before i got my splits. just stretch yourself out a bit and warm up and you should be fine
