The funny name thing works, my daughter has been calling broccli "dinasour trees" since she was a toddler. She also pretends to be a dinosaur when eating it! Lol

Ok…I am sorry, I have to point out that if you have three kids who are not fussy eaters, how do you know that this works on fussy eaters?

Severe picky eaters usually have other challenges like sensory processing issues, food allergies, etc. They won’t eat even when they’re hungry, because food literally feels like hurting them. Many “tips” given here sadly won’t apply to them. If you have a severe picky eater, I hope you understand it’s not because you did or didn’t do something, and licensed feeding specialists are much more qualified than YouTube videos to solve your child’s issue…

Both of my kids are picky. My 3 year old daughter won't eat most meat, but will eat nuts, hummus, cheese and yogurt and loves salad. My son is protein deficient and slightly anemic. He also won't eat much if any protein including nuts, hummus, seeds, cheese, yogurt, sandwich meat or sandwiches unless pb and j (and he doesn't like peanut butter). He will eat lettuce as a salad only with lemon juice. No more green beans, cucumbers, peppers, peas, broccoli. No mashed potatoes, ground meat, meatballs. He doesn't like mac and cheese or hot dogs or hamburger, dressings, sauces etc. The list goes on and on and on. I do make smoothies with carrots and cucumber and other veggies/fruits 2-3 times a week, but it hasn't been enough to keep him healthy. And he doesn't like chocolate.

My son will literally eat nothing that was shown except the mac n cheese. If I mix anything in it he will not eat anything else the rest of the day.

Love these tips! I am definitely guilty of letting my daughter snack on things like fruit & peanut butter crackers all the time, so I’m going to try cutting down on the amount of snacks she gets and see if that helps! She loves fruit, meat, beans, rice, potatoes, but absolutely refuses veggies!!!

My son eats chicken nuggets, lasagne, pizza, scrambled eggs, tacos and Mac and cheese. That's literally about ALL. No fruit or vegetables whatsoever. Not even potatoes. It's causing me so much stress. He wants Nutella sandwiches everyday for lunch at school. I just can't allow this anymore. Thanks so much for your tips, especially the stick one
