The daily walk is SO important. I am going to work that back in to my routine starting today.
Does anyone have recommendations on how to balance this with working? It's dark when I go to work and almost dark when I get home. I feel like on the weekends I do well with cooking good meals and being active, but during the week, I really struggle after work for the couple hours I have before going to bed.
Any suggestions for someone with a not so common situation?! I'm (almost) 42 wife & mom, I work full time 3rd shift at a factory. So I'm at work from 10 pm to 6 am. I then take over care of of 2 youngest kiddos almost 7 yr old daughter and almost 2 yr old son. I try to get a 3-4 hour nap in, in the mornings but sometimes not always a given. So I lay down about 9:30-10 am & am back up by 1pm to feed little man and get ready to pick daughter up from school. Don't get to lay back down for my 2nd nap until 5:30-6pm & back up around 8-8;30 to eat dinner then rush off to work! Currently trying to improve my health and wellness but finding it hard with the sleep aspect 😢 any tips. Can't afford daycare & don't have family/friends close by to help out. So it's just me & hubby. Any tips would be appreciated 😊
I just came across your channel and am so happy to finally see a mom accomplish this. Gives me hope that I can. I have been struggling with emotional eating for a long time. In those moments when I want immediate relief (even if it's temporary) from having a bad day or a bad morning with my kids but I cannot leave and take a break because I have young kids or maybe I'm trying to take them somewhere and not be late. How do you get immediate relief without food? This is one of my downfalls.

I hate meditation, it's puts our focus on self and not on our Creator. Then people want to say they are going to Heaven but what's there? the same as here? It's crazy to mix ideas and think we can do stuff here on our own but when bad things happen then they point to God. Take a step back and try to understand God and our purpose here, then you can find yourself and let go of the weight.
I come back and rewatch this video every couple months and it never gets old.

I don't do any other social media. You're doing the work, that's all it takes to lose weight. Most want to do nothing and eat whatever they want. It is easier, but won't get results.Your home is beautiful.

When I workout on my cardio, I try to find videos that help distract me and keep me on my goals. Thank you for having a very relaxing, long video. I was so jealous of your porch, blanket, and journal/book. I like to find people that share similar goals with me as it always helps. Communicating and listening to each others challenges. I’ve been on this journey for 40 days now! And I had the same excuse as you about tracking macros before. It was just so daunting to think about tracking when I’m already feeling at capacity in many areas of life as a homeschool mom with three kids! But one day I just decided I was going to do it. My husband does it along with me and that helps as well because we are able to encourage each other and help each other find good food ideas when we are getting bored. The biggest thing I’m doing right now is eating very much the same things most days. It just takes the decision out of it and I’ve found things I love to eat.
