      I got called weak because I couldn’t do more because it hurting my body & the dude says you’re just faking it & I was saying no I’m not my arms are hella hurting so he does it saying it was easy & I tell him you’ve been doing this for years & I just started. 😔

      In my gym there is a couple who call me stubborn man or brick head because i dont push my limits to 125% or 150%

      Man, im not doing bulking (i cant because i must do 2km of running in an physical test) and im trying to cut (15% body fat)

      I lose 50kg in a year (2018) and im trying my best to change my mentality because i had depression.

      But man every time i go to the gym they let me down so hard. I love lifting and doing exercise… but im beginning to doubt about my self steem.

      Sry if my english is not nice. Its not my native language. I just wanted to vent.

      This is why I couldn’t fucking bare weightlifting class. The teacher and everyone in it were complete jackasses that looked down on me or said things to me based on my body or how much I could lift compared to them. The gym teacher would talk to me in a certain way that I didn’t like as well as other very specific things that I don’t have time to detail. The other people in there that could lift quarters of cars thought they were the shit too and made it intimidating for me to be there and would give me negative comments. I was easily the skinniest kid in there that spent the least time in the gym and lifted less, but oh my god I could not wait to get out of that class. I couldn’t ask for help or do something not as good without feeling ostracized. I wanted to lift and I didn’t drop that class because the entire point is to get stronger, but everyone else’s ego got the better of them. That being said, there were some friends in there that calmed by nerves a bit, but didn’t solve the issue.

      Glad you're taking a stance, I've seen one too many videos where it shows someone doing their best and then it cuts to the influencer basically saying "your best is my minimum".

      Honestly when I’m at the gym I like looking at people who cant really lift,seeing other people push themselves to the limits even though it looks light to me pumps me up. Makes me want to go all out too. I hope people don’t think I’m judging when I stare because honestly I’m rooting for you

      Who actually does this like for real. When I started I was praised by the big guys while my max was their warm-up and now after 5 years I do the same to newbies like to me it brings me joy when I push some newbies to do one more rep or put a little more weight cause I saw it was too easy for them.
