Just done my 1st plank following your guidance. I can already understand why it's good for burning stomach fat and building the abdomen. Definitely felt the strain, which was both good and bad; good because I have a lot of excess weight to lose, like 35-40Kgs, but bad because the strain I could feel was centred on the location where I had a hernia fixed.
Hopefully as I do it more and become accustomed to it that feeling of strain in the old hernia site will pass.
tip : plank for 1 minute every day for just a month and you'll see great results
