That works fine if you have very good control over your finger movements. Some of us don't, and for us the double-action airbrush is just the wrong tool. Single-action airbrushes are much easier for us to use but they can be very hard to find at any kind of quality level.
First thing I noticed was how nicely your fingernails are groomed. Very impressive.
Then why not make a seperate lever to turn off and on the air. Then you can focus on the amount of paint you want to spray. Now you have to press down all the time while moving your finger forwards and backwards.
I am sure there is a reason for that, but I am just curious.
im a first time user and have absolute no idea how to use it, can anybody give me some tips and tricks to be better as a beginner?
Thanks for the tip because I have been having trouble with my new airbrush
Thank You ✨️
Excellent explanation for someone like myself. Thank you.
Thanks for the advice, I follow miniature painters and I notice they do like it was a spray can, but when I try that I usually get a lot of little coming from the airbrush, doesn't matter how well I cleaned the day before, but when I do it like you showed it I don't gent any, my only concern is that it feels more difficult to control what you're working on that way.
I've just started using one and I've seen this tip twice now. So thanks guys I can develop good habits first
of all the airbrush videos I have seen so far that's the first time anyone mentioned that. I would think that would be one of the first things to know. Thanks for that tip!
Iwata copy. Sack up and get the real deal, then you are a real airbrush artist with real equipment. Dont teach noobs to fail or get discouraged by using crappy equipment. Iwata, there is no substitute. The most important beginner tip is to practice with lettering and adding drop shadows. Everyone can write, few now how to successfully use dagger strokes to airbrush. Lettering is the best way for noobs to learn. <–Fact.
Why would you possibly need to hold
Your video completely changed how I use my airbrush. Now I have much better control. In the 18 months or so since I first watched this, my models look so much better. It has also given me greater confidence using various shading techniques.
It's like in the cartoons when Road Runner drops the anvil on Coyote's head and all he sees are stars, but then realises his mistake.
I just heard the "thwump" , and then saw the stars.
Thank you so much for this video, it's helped me so, so much.
Which air brush you use
I'm glued watching your videos.
The second part was the key, thanks! I was getting splatter and didn't know why.
I'm not even at beginner stage, never touched one, never watched one until yesterday watching a gentleman airbrushing tee-shirts, he was so talented and that was it for me, I'm buying a set. Now, thanks to your very detailed video and explanations I won;t be discouraged, cheers mate, well worth tha 'sub'.
SPLATOON GUN
Great tip. Great videos. Thank you
…and that's why a FIXED double action Airbrush is so much easier to control !
Great tip 😊👍
Cool bong.
i would like your information on your airbrushing chorse
Thanks!
That was by far the BEST short and informative tip I've seen for a beginner. Thankyou
Great help, thank you!!! Tips are always appreciated
I just got my first airbrush for makeup and this helped me too 🙂 thanks! 🌻
Oh my god I've been using airbrushes for 8 mounths and I didn't know why she was spitting. Thanks bro
So… think of the "press-down-for-air" as the "on" button.. Got it!
I literally just started airbrushing yesterday.
It's like learning to play an instrument….great video
