Regardless of whether or not you have ADHD, there is nothing wrong with feeling that certain high-effort lifestyle and health habits are difficult to maintain! This is just a recent update for me (I just found out late last year) that I felt was important to share since it significantly impacted the way that I view my own routine and health habits!
Out of curiosity, do you have predominantly hyper adhd or predominantly distracted, or both? Because I have combined type and I find that I’m often too hyper to go to the kitchen and when I do, I get too hyper so do things properly and my mind would race or would be too distracted and I wouldn’t be able to concentrate if I wouldn’t be able to pull myself away from what I’m doing to cook properly. A lot of your recipes are super useful. But are they using ingredients that are good for ADHD brains?
I’ve been reading about ingredients that supposedly good for adhd brains and I can’t really wrap my head around it. Especially using brown pasta since it tastes really bad! Do you have any easy balanced recipes that use those ingredients. I find when I use hem I do feel a lot more regulated, but I don’t use them because they’re hard to make taste good 🙂
I would love to try! But where can I find the recipe?
That's a neat idea – putting a meal in a jar. Variations of it would be perfect for work.
I'm a therapist. Part of my ADHD diagnosis process was, coworkers kept asking for ideas for their ADHD clients and I taught them what I did to survive, and it worked for their clients.
Idk if I have adhd or not. But I've been doing food prepping for quite a few years now. Or more so batch cooking these days. I don't mind cooking. But there are most days where cooking just feels like a huge "no" for no real reason or I'm just overwhelmed. Doing something as simple as prepping/batching rice, pre-cooked shopped portions for recipes, or even having stuff ready for the hubbys favorite salad saves me.
Where can I get the recipe? 😢
I thought it be a link in the description for the recipe. I guess I’ll try your channel link
I’ll click everywhere looking for the recipe.
Where can I get the recipe to this soup you’re making? It looks so good 😍 and yes, super easy!
This is a massive life saver because its interestin, healthy and easy for someone with execute dysfunction to follow – its perfect!
Only thing is I wish you had a website of all the recipes
I AM SO GLAD I JUST FOUND YOU !
The tofu should be at the bottom, lettuce at the top, otherwise the lettuce will go soggy
Just recently came across your content and love it. Where do you post your recipes?
Same but my adhd got worse the older I got
Knife warning

I love your meal ideas. But you are missing something in your life and that is having a relationship with Jesus Christ . He can help you in all areas off your life . John 3:16. Blessings.
I have ADHD and meal prepping is so hard for me! Thank you!

I think your absolutely adorable and I wonder do u take stimulants for adhd. I'm adhd and because I'm diagnosed bipolar I'm not on stimulants as it could invoke manic episodes . So I wonder how I can be more focus with out stimulants
I love your videos! What can I sub for tofu in this recipe? Soy doesn't agree with me.
ADHD, hum I was told this is my life. I just learned to better organize ny time and efforts.
As someone who has ADHD as well as bipolar, your videos have been a lifesaver for me. I’ve taken the tips and tricks and have practiced them in my own home. Not only for the month of January did I lose 11lbs, (still have nearly 120lbs to lose), but, I’m feeling more satisfied and happier than I was before.
