You do that exercise for biceps. Except it’s much better if you do it on a stable pull up bar. Pull downs are mostly bunk because pull ups are so much better. ….Gym bros…..
I use the supernated grip lay bar pull-down specifically FOR the biceps. Great little exercise 😊

My question with this data is how the different positions change the amount of weight moved. Like, sure biceps might be 10% more involved but if you’re moving 20% more weight maybe its still a better lat exercise

I like the more upright palm up pull-down for biceps because I sprained my wrist and can’t do any curling movements. Sometimes I put my hands realy close and use lighter weight and do basically a curl towards my chin/neck as it dosent hurt the wrist but realy targets the biceps and basically no lats

You're right! May not be great for lats but I have bad tendonitis in my elbows, those reverse grip pull-downs are my bread and butter for biceps like old Mike Metzger and they dont hurt. But I've been fighting my elbows forever I can never get them completely healed. I'd love to though lol

I actually only use that group to work my biceps lol. A lot of the people that train it blows their mind when I show them fixed elbow stuff.
