day 2: same as yesterday but today my cat started climbing on me while I was trying to do this
day 3-4: I wasn't feeling well

I can hardly do this workout because my hands hurt a lot (the "meat" of the thumb gets crushed by the weight).
What can I do to solve this ? I tried Wellington gloves, even trying 2 pairs of gloves on each hand and it still hurts like hell
