I am 250 and my ideal weight is 220-230. I am just a big guy.
I tried to lose weight under 200 but it isn't possible. I quickly hit the point of gaining muscle and my weight goes back up.
I am definitely overweight right now if my goal is 220 though.
If I worked out as hard as this dude I wouldn't be surprised at hitting 280.

I've been doing these steps the exact way he explained it for a month, after a month of figuring things out looking up on the internet… This video is golden, now it's not of much use to me since I already got there and I can confirm this is exactly what you need to do to ensure results (and btw yes, you do have to accept that you probably need 2-3 months of hard work to see changes) , but If someone is interested in starting their journey, this is the way to go… fun part is that cutting those 500 calories is not even that bad, I personally have been cutting more to see if I got faster results, but it's not only unnecessary, it might be counter productive… just doing things consistently and not overdoing it will make it enjoyable and once you get the results you can go back to maintenance and enjoy your life! It's crazy how good this plan is… make sure to eat the right food with best macro to calorie ratio and you will find out that eating 2k calories a day is actually easy to do, you can even have cheat days from time to time and it will not affect you at all… And the part about wanting to give up, it's spot on,… had those thought and still have them til this day, but if you persevere the reward is that much sweeter. Stay strong guys, don't give up!

Remember that metabolizing a gram of protein will take more energy so in the end 1 gram of protein will result in less calorie surplus. People need to take this part into account. This is why keto works for a calorie deficit, protein is more satiating and also burns more calories to digest it thus reducing your total calories in a day. Same with fiber, low calorie and satiating = less calories.
Beware longer term calorie deficit will result in slowing your metabolism and eventually gaining weight
