Happy new year everyone!! So I've been tweaking and refining my full body program over the last 6 months and it's finally ready to go. You can check it out over on my website http://jeffnippard.com if you're looking to try out something new! I've also got 5 Full Body Science Applied videos on the way in case you want to get a taste for what the workouts look like – so stay tuned for those over the next month or two! Hope you all had a great holiday and let's get 2020 off to a great start. Peace!
Takes way too much time, I'll stick to 3 times a week
NO HUMAN ON EARTH CAN TRAIN FULL BODY 5X PER WEEK WITHOUT STEROIDS…. SO STFU.
I train every muscle 5x a week and it works for me I did 2x a week to start with yes built muscle but soon as I changed to 5x boom I didnāt just grow muscle a little faster not drastically faster but still faster I also become ripped faster too , yes I did hit problems at first but experimented a little bit along with research I finally struck a point it worked perfectly I do 5 sets to failure 3x a week and 3 sets 2x so basically intervals , I just do a exercise cycle so 1 week stick to the same exercise then the next do a different and I do a 4 week cycle example biceps alternative curls one week , EZ bar curls , cable curls and preacher and the good thing is if your body is just saying no one day then you aināt going to miss out on gains just doing a 3 or 4 day week time to time
Bro are You Crazy? I Just want To do That, but the Workout is must 3 days and the Rest Day Must 4 Days Right?
Iāve been doing 5x full body workouts every day for the last 4 months now and am wondering if I should keep on doing what I am doing or if I should switch to a different split workout plan as a lot of people are telling me that Iām not going to gain muscle like this. Everyday Iāll hit the same machines, I never do cardio, take protein powder and creatine before my workouts every single time, and mainly shred my shoulders, biceps, and triceps. Iāll be doing 12 sets and 12 reps for my biceps, 9 sets and 12 reps for my triceps/shoulders, 3 sets and 12 reps for my chest, 2 sets of 21 for my abs, 6 sets of 15 for my glutes and lower back and upper/lower thighs, 6 sets of 12 for my lats, 3 sets of 12 for my upper back, and 3 sets of 21 for my calves and forearms. This will happen 5x a day and am wondering if that will progress me for gains
To be fair the gym bro in the white vest looks pretty jacked so maybe he's onto something š
So what is considered a beginner lifter? How do I know when I will benefit from working out a muscle group more than once a week
i just started doing 5 days a week total body im on day 4 im starting out light weights 2 sets of 10 then ill increase to 3 sets in a few weeks if my body feels like it can handle it.im also walking for 20m 5 days a week before my workouts all workouts are fasted workouts.
we will see how this goes i have never done anything like this before.
proof humans can over complicate anything xD
Beginner = natty? Advanced = Test Deca Mast with a Dbol kickstart?
Not a beginnrr….athlete and lifter all my life since 14….Ty for this vid….i am pretty shredded.i practice caloric deficit ….5 days a week….and vitamins and protein supplements and Focus on technique….no injuries so faršā¤ļø
jeff so tiny he can't reach the whiteboard š
Trash video. I came here for a full body routine and ended up getting a fking science class.
1:12 just based in my experience. If i work just 1time per week, each muscle group, I donāt feel a shit. So, I donāt know which studies he read, but I donāt buy it.
I realize this is an old thread but I've just started this very split. At 63 years old. So far I'm really liking it. I wonder if there is any advantage in this split for senior lifters? I believe I would be considered an advanced lifter. I've been lifting off and on for nearly half a century. I've been on a push/pull/legs & abs split for the last year with bro splits the previous year. Down 50 pounds over that time and got my BF to 17.3%. Thanks for all you do Jeff. I'm learning a ton from you.
I do full body 6-7 days a week where Iāll hit everything in a 2.5-4hr workout everyday. Iāve been doing this for the past 2 years (push-pull for 2 years beforehand). Iām not sure if itās better but it helps with my mental health + Iām silky jacked so Iām sticking to it
Perhaps one should take into account also what you do when you don't train. I mean the more time you spend on the gym the less time you spend on doing things perhaps not as good for your body. š
Just started the program and I'm finishing the workouts in 30-45 mins . Am I rushing the workouts or is this normal.
What about calves
I'm still skeptical that so many fitness influencers call the 3-day full-body split a "beginner's" split. Back in the mid-1980s, I took weight lifting for a PE elective in college. The instructor taught us a 3-day, full body splitāfrom the book Getting Stronger by Bill Pearls, the anti-PED activist and vegetarian former Mister Universeāfor general athletic preparedness. It was close to what my high school strength coach had football and basketball players on.
BTW, this college instructor was natty. Vegetarian. Middle-aged but jacked. And while a little ropey, strong as a bull. He was probably the biggest influence in my exercise life. Sure, lifting in high school was good, but I had a goal: varsity. But my college course taught me why an older person would continue lifting to maintain health as they age.
This video is soooo unnecessarily Long dude just get to the point, No one cares about scientific or historical research smh!
These comments!! Ha
The great thing about working out is that I think we all start off with science until we figure out what makes us happy. I'm going for mental health gains!
Push an pull day is absolute dogshit. Whrn u train chest, you already train you triceps. So when you are done with chest and move on to your triceps, you can't even train it because u destroyed it while u were training chest.
The same goes for biceps/back.
This split doesn't make a lot of sense. In fact its counter productive
Thanks
There's no time for your body to recover. I would not implement this programme unless I want chronic fatigue.
Why do people hate training legs so much? It's not even bad. It's comical stumbling around like bambi I laugh at myself whilst dragging myself up the stairs.
I'd like to see them do a study on high frequency training for people who do manual labor jobs. My theory is that people doing manual labor jobs would greatly benefit from full body five times per week low volume per session training. It would keep them from getting burnt out from a day-to-day standpoint.
I'm like 2 months in so Ill just stick with full boy 3 days a week lmao
Day 1: Head
Day 2: Shoulders
Day 3: Knees & Toes
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: Eyes & Ears
Day 6: Mouth & Nose
Day 7: Rest
Too much talk just want to sell something
I think boosting nutritional intake. Specifically on tissue repair will decrease soreness and increase gains using this program.
I just have to hit more than 2 times a week feels good. Think of it as out for a run
How many exercise per body part with this program?
Intense Training Great Results š , high calories intake and 8 hours sleep š“
My fata$$ watching this eating a whole 18in pizza
Jeff how to tell if your beginner of advance? and how to program each
Yo what happened to your voice at 3:10 when you say "same"
Spooked me out
I have no choice to train each muscle once a week cause in my hometown at the gym we can only workout for 2 hours and we have to get out.
