Caffeine is so very good when you get a headache. When I get a migraine, apart from 1 Tylenol1, and one Extra strength Advil I am advised to drink a strong cup of coffee by my doctor.
Alyssa, I just came across your channel and Iβm absolutely loving it!
Apollo you are so handsome! Good job walking on a leash/harness too.
Thank you for explaining the temperature thing. I notice sinus headache as well but assumed it was the heat. We went from 45C to 62C over night and I think the whole country got a headache we were all complaining but didnβt know why. We assumed it was allergies because we had come out of a dust storm but the sky was clear.
Thanks foe the video. Iβd really appreciate if you would expound on your running !
I so agree with the supplements. It took me a couple years to figure out what is absolutely needed and others I need just at certain times of the year. Herbs have been helpful for me too. I discovered late in my adulthood how vital sleep is for me. I love dancing! That keeps me going. Apollo is a sweetheart. πΎ I knew when you were in the bathroom and the door opened, "the cat is curious"!!π
I'm just in love with Apollo π±π
loved the exercise recommendations
That was fun to see you in real life…esp the ballet segments. Very great to see how to make use of a doorway!!!! Excellent and real.πΉπΉπΉxoxo Joanne
Love love seeing you skiing! I just came back from a week of skiing and I just so rarely see that here on youtube. It's my most favourite exercise.
Hello Alyssa. the only thing that cured my chronic anemia was a daily glass of kefir smoothie with half a spoon of turmeric, a little pepper, honey and banana. It had been recommended to me for curing anemia, and since iron and vitamin supplements or spirulina never helped enough, I tried it the kefir smoothie. 2 months later, without any other change in my life or diet, the anemia was gone forever, as proved by my blood tests results. Just sharing in case it can help! π
I enjoyed getting to know you better. You are so in control,of yourself it is wonderful. I also get barometric pressure headaches. My husband swears by caffeine as helping a headache and many medicines have caffeine in them for that purpose, so your coffee probably helped rather than hindered your weather related headache.
Vlog!!! Damn spellchecker!
Absolutely loved this blog, Alyssa. There's so much I would like to ask, but am limiting to two things. Super-impressed with your flexibility at the barre movements, is it purely from the yoga or are you naturally a 'bendy toy'? Secondly, where can I find Apollo's walking harness? It looks really well-designed.
Thanks for the consistent content of your videos. I never miss them as I can be sure of the quality every time! Mille baci!
I get migraines with pressure changes. (Iβm better at predicting storms than a weather forecaster!). A healthy routine makes all the difference but I also have a medication (prescription) which helps.
Know migraine pain from quick barometric changes. This winter has been ok but thhs spring seems to be a challenge. Apollo loves to make cameos. His walking gear is wonderful.
Ow, I hear you with the barometric headaches! I do daily yoga (but vary the style depending what I feel I need), I agree about listening to your body for food and in general – I also eat quite a bit of fish and eggs too. The barre class looks really interesting, too.
I always love your vlogs! Now we see where your clear thinking and great advice come from. Wish I had learned cross-country skiing when I lived in snow country, it looks like a blast, and good exercise. ππΌ
What's the white stuff outside everywhere? Asks a viewer from Florida π
really enjoyed this vlog, a but different from your typical videos but that's good too! and love apollo so much π
Thank you for sharing with us Alyssa π I love that you mention consulting supplements with professionals. But with the skincare part I don't think you mentioned sunscreen,..um.. do you not use it?
Oh those barometer migraine attacks! I hear youπ
Weather change headaches! Yes. And living in Seattle, I get them all the time. I find that a warm compress on my eyes & forehead really helps.
Loved going with you on your day. Thank you! β₯οΈπ
Hi Alyssa! Oh, these vlogs are so much fun.ππ₯° Love learning more about your exercise and night time routine. The bar looked like a killer workout, and you look amazing as always! Apollo is absolutely adorable and clearly interested in your night time routine.π Sorry to hear about the pressure headache. Hope it didn't stay too long.
I loved learning about your night time green drink. I always have half a cup of kefir at night. This is also my go-to protein when I get hungry at midnight. Also, I love putting spirulina into my shake, but might try making a green drink at night. Thanks for the idea! Have a lovely weekend. Big hugs, πΊπΊπΊ N
Hi Alyssa, thanks for doing this video! And – oh my gosh, I get those headaches too (had one today), sometimes they last for more than a day. I take magnesium too – it has helped a lot with my sleep.
Yay a vlog!! I've been missing these!! I didn't know you do barre, I also love it but I stopped working out at the beginning of the pandemic. I need to get back to it, thanks for giving me the motivation. I'm seriously impressed about you listening to your body for food (protein, carbs,..), fascinating. Do you have any recs on how to learn about this?
"Going for a walk with my long time friend. We've known each other for 10 years."… WAAAAHHHH. In MY life, 10 years are considered "new acquaintances". Bahahaha. Since at my age, I've known most of my friends for 30-50 years! Anyway, had to comment on this, Alyssa, because I had one of those highly unwelcome moments realizing,
-ONCE AGAIN –that you were half my age. π Oh, and I really enjoyed this. π
