WATCH NEXT: How to Remove FreeStyle Libre sensor https://youtu.be/mlOQWxjDr-4
2 out of my last 3 wouldn’t connect together . When I press on the grey part it doesn’t move
Interesting: How do you get it to work with your phone after you activate it with the reader?
(I'm still struggling, I've had 3 sensors fail in 5 days … but if I ever get these to work, that would be handy)
Why is there a needle in the applicator? Does it go into your skin?
What can I do if accidentally triggered de blue part on the applicator?
I applied it after watching the video more or less in the same area and it hurts when I move my arm. Now I'm gonna have to throw away the sensor… Thanks I guess.
Thanks a lot for this detailed instructions. My wife got a typ-1 diagnosis two weeks ago, and today it was time for the first sensor exchange. Unfortunately she was very uncertain about the procedure and only vagely remembered the instructions she received from the medics who taught her in the use of the LibreView sensor and software suite.
Thank's to your video I could lend a hand and guide her through the process.
When you were talking about activating the sensor, you said that if you activate with your phone first, the reader won't work anymore. This is incorrect. The reader won't work for that sensor but will work for the next sensor if the reader is used to activate the sensor first. Then you can still use your phone/app to get readings.
Thank you very clear information I had no idea about.
So I scan my thing with the reader and then I want to send it with my phone but it won't let me what am I doing wrong
Thank you
Awesome 👌 as everyone else's comments… you made this simple…easy to understand unlike the other videos. Thank you & great job!
You can not use both the reader & the phone with the Free Libre 2.
🙏
I was scared when I saw the needle in real life haha! But as you said, didn’t even feel it. Thanks !
Are there different sensors? My reader says incompatible sensor. What's with that.
it still hurts about 4/10, after 5 -10mins of application .. but again Im needle-phobic
Very good video. Really helped me apply the sensor. Many thanks
First time using — Didn't know it was spring loaded, this spooked me, haha!
yikes! Although, I'm willing…
Great job Tom
I go through all this to discover tha iPhone 6plus S is not usable…Good grief 😠
Is it bad if it bleeds when you inject it? Think I did this one too much on a muscle 😕
Thank you so much
This thing is the biggest piece of shit there is. Expect it to quit working maybe half way thru the life of the sensor.
Great video. Thanks
that needle looks to long for my liking, I am too scare to use it
This is my 3rd Freestyle Libre sensor and first time using Libre 2. Unfortunately also my first time get so much blood out of the center of the sensor, no blood from the previous two. May be they changed the needle or just my bad luck. By the way, this is the first time I am using the location as shown at 2:20 min mark, further back of the upper arm. The previous locations were also on upper arm but more next to the chest.
This is way better than the video my provider recommended. Thank you!
Hello Tom I love your videos on freestyle Libre 2
I'm from Tennessee in the USA
I am a type 2 diabetic I just got my freestyle Libre 2 the other day
thank you so much Tom
Loved this video! Straight to the point
Question: While applying it to the back of the arm… do you flex the muscles a little, or not at all? Last time I've applied a FL3 sensor it hurt a little from the start and all of the 14 days. Must have hit some nerve or I was flexing the muscle too hard maybe? My arms are rather skinny (compared to yours), but did you make any observations regarding that? 🙂 And thanks for your videos, really helpful!
Thank you Tom @Type One Talks for the clear instructions in applying the Freestyle Libre2. I’m looking for the video where you talk about how to let it warm up for 24hrs for more accurate readings of the blood sugars. Can you tell me what it’s call or p/m me.
After 2 and a half years of requesting my healthcare system and independently researching where to access this sacred CGM, I finally got my FreeStyle libre! I am seriously stoked! In Cyprus, healthcare does not offer CGMs and buying without a prescription is not only expensive but usually impossible due to being unavailable on most stores online/offline.
I was hoping for the #3 generation CGM but in the end I was able only to get the 1st generation, beggars can't be choosers. I just installed the first sensor and waiting for the calibration to begin readings. Waiting a while now for my fingers to heal after all these years haha. Super excited!
