Hope you guys enjoyed this one! Comment below what you'd like to see next, and don't forget to give me a follow on Instagram for more content (https://www.instagram.com/jeremyethier/ ). Cheers!
3:50 -After watching that video i've been searching for a similar furnice in my local gym and couldn't find any.
The gym goers that don't do squats and deadlifts have wrong priorities. Imagine valuing being a hypertrophic "pretty boy" over strength and stability.
How about adding in unilateral training with the Roman Chair/Hyper Extension using only one leg?
Quick question, and hoping you will see this, are lower back massages good for preventing lower back pain and the pain it causes on the muscles around it?
Got super tight fat ass from this workout. Iv been using tren sarms and roids on my lower back but it made my ass very tight so its hard to bend. I tried rad 140, and it didnt even slightly improve my back. For now im using dbol i will update my comment later.
I’m honestly just trying to get a stronger back to not fuck up my back from my backpack
appreciate the suggestions for those of us who don’t deadlift!
I do supermans and I'm pain free
what about Incline prone Y raises you suggested us in the "best back exercises" video with Betty?
What targets the side of the lower back?
Can anyone help me? At bird dog exercise is 8,6,4 reps each side ?
Sitting down causing so much lower back pain that I somehow become dizzy and fatigued. 4 years of hell but I haven't tried strengthening the muscles yet. Please pray for me.
Quite possibly the most annoying voice
I attempted bird-dogs multiple times and all I feel is my shoulders. I don't know how weak you should be in lower back to feel anything in that region.
i did i using 1 exercise. Reverse lumber leg raises. 12reps X 3 sets, 5 days a week
Whose here with backache after working out?
Jeremy, I do not know if you still see or respond to comments on older videos but I need to know if these exercises are safe for a man who's had a microdiscectomy L3, L4, and L5! I know this is an unusual question to answer and I don't expect you to know if it is safe or not, but I need to know something! My recovery thankfully has been going greatly, but my lower back is still significantly weak even after doing some physical therapy, resistance bands, and light weight kettlebells! I even just a few days ago pulled my back after doing squats and deadlifts with resistance bands and kettelbell swings! It felt great in the moment but unfortunately, the following days after, my back pulled! Idk what to do 😢
This was literally the most helpful video ever, I hurt myself squatting bc I didn’t know what I was doing and uneducated people were helping me at the time, I’ve been in pain for the last year because of it, consulted my doctor, chiro, dry needled, phys ther, and none of them helped. I’m gonna try this and see how it goes🫡
Sub a back extension machine with a exercise ball variant if your gym doesn’t have one.
Simple informative and to the point great video
If you have weak lower back and start with deadlifts and squads you definitely going to make more damage and pain to your lower back…
I have tried to do back extensions but I have hypermobility and my knees hyper extend so I found that after this exercise my knees hurt a lot. Is there a way to adapt back extensions to stop my knees from hyper extending?
Are Superman’s bad for you? I don’t really think so the guy in the video is going too high with his arms and back you only need to bring them an inch or so off the ground to get the benefit you aren’t supposed to squeeze your lower back in half like he’s doing he looks like a bow when I do them I look like Superman. When Superman flys are his legs pulled up behind him? No he’s just got them out extended behind him not pulled up his arms aren’t above his head they’re down by his face and jaw. They may be called hyperextensions but don’t hyperextended your back out of place doing too much punching on these please heed my warning brothers and super man on
19 years old : feet pain, knee pain, lower back pain, upper back pain and still not over after 3 years
Bro you r great thank u
Deadlifts, Jefferson Curls, Hiperextensions with rounding, Zercher Deadlifts. Thank me later.
I loved the video, the explanations, the way it was backed up by scientific researches and the suggested exercises to strengthen the lower back little by little in a safe way. Thank you for sharing this knowledge. God bless you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
If I'm already squatting and deadlifting as part of my existing routine, can I do the other two movements on the same day? Specifically I'm doing a Starting Strength-like program, so I squat 3x a week and deadlift 3x every two weeks.
Also, are glute bridges any good? Are they redundant with the two bodyweight movements covered here?
Too much talk
Working out will not prevent back pain, regardless of the excercise.
Most men wear tool belts at work and pull the spine all day. Cops, construction workers, etc….
Bird Dog
Thank you, i've been hyperextending doing these moves and had no idea i was doing more harm than good. Will start training correctly now.
easy to understand and very informative thankyou
dont give a crap about research. BS. keep it to the exercises.
I Don't get it, showed first two exercises then said they aren't good
I need to strengthen my back to go back to boxing, I'm going to miss it for the next 4 months 😢
I can’t thank you enough for this video. The bird dog movement you showed literally saved my life. I’m a powerlifter and have been dealing with excruciating lower back pain the last 12 months. Within 1 week I am almost pain free by following what you recommended. You’ve allowed me to return back to my normal life!
Cant do bird dog had acl surgery hurts being on my knee low back extensions have been the best for me
There are 2 in 10 who never experience lower back pain ever! Woow
Actually, squats gave me my lower back pain.
Shoud i train this with scoliosis?
