Yes! Fellow Canadians! A lot of online/YouTube meal prep are US-based and I realized that we don’t have or have a hard time finding (and more expensive!) a lot of the items they suggest. So glad that you mentioned you live in Canada and I can find all items you mentioned in my local grocery stores (only exception is that I need to be gluten-free) 😊

I learned about calorie counting 50 years ago. I was 30 pounds overweight then. All I have ever done is track my calories without worrying about anything else. I discovered early on that I would never be hungry if I ate low calorie – high density foods. Turns out those foods were usually whole, non-processed foods. I have always eaten what I want as long as I stayed around my calorie allowance. Back then we didn't have apps to help us track calories. Apps like My fitness pal are great!
I tried the cottage cheese and peanut butter the other day..nope. lol. I like cottage cheese just with a bit of salt 😊
