No crazy fake before and after stuff. Just steady, solid progress 👍🏼💪
So entertaining and informative. Well done 😂
I started running again a few months ago at 276lbs. I could barely scrape a 14 minute mile. Yesterday I strung 5 sub 12min miles together for a 56min 5 mile run and now weigh 251lbs. I am far from my 200lb and sub 25 min 5k target but this video helped me properly evaluate my progress, thank you!
it took me a couple of weeks to even be able to run further than a km, so far my best is 1.4km but i am yet to really push myself, i think if i was running in a group i would feel more motivated to really go hard!
shows comparing photos, me "wow, great progress", him "not much difference" lol
Did she achieve these results on a plant based diet? She looks great btw and so do you.
Really interesting video, it's nice to see someone making realistic gains, albeit from a pretty good natural base.
You have mentioned many times about your own journey. You have spoken about the 5k being what you aimed for and how you didn't record your park run until you could run under 30 minutes.
I am 38 years old and started my "journey" a little while ago. I have already lost a fair bit of weight and now am focusing on improving my fitness as well as my health. Do you have a video that charts your progress in the earlier stages? I know all people are different and wouldn't use someone else's numbers to compare myself to too directly, but it would be interesting (to me at least) to see the sort of progress you made in rough time frames.
Anyway, keep up the good content and here's to aiming for above average 👍🏻
It is not just that she is not fat. She is also quite strong for her weight and sex. Many untrained men would fail to Deadlift their bodyweight or benchpress half that.
Hi Mark was watching the other day and seen you putting a chest heart rate monitor on and just wanted too tell you can broadcast the heart rate on your Fenix. I learned it the other day on Zwift. I hate wearing a heart monitor so again GARMIN Perfect. Go Above Average!
I appreciate you mention the fact that Jen started at a low bodyweight, and I agree with you that doesn't take away anything from this transformation. The only difference between her and an obese woman would be that it takes a few more months to get there. But everyone can get there! Thanks to you both for your commitment to this and sharing it with us.
Jenna set a goal which was important to her, Sheesh chill and just support it, might as well be asking her "if she even lifts". Also more importantly it appears the exercise hasn't stopped her matching her nail varnish and top, smashing it!
I appreciate this from the husbands perspective! I’ve recently begun my journey 2 years postpartum (my husband is super fit) and notices a difference. I’m always curious about the “fit couple”.
Trying to get my wife into fitness has been a failing challenge. Turns out that could be down to my approach. Great advice, great improvements well done both!
Did you punt the Ironman?
Wow your wife looks good for having three children. Can you talk more about that. Is vegan diet help her look really young and slim.

Mark is the perfect husband 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm not trying to offend you or your wife, but your wife looks more like your daughter than your wife! She's done a great job!!
I just discovered your channel. Love it
Mark you look better bald than with hair I'm very impressed!! Most people can't pull that off and I certainly wouldn't be able to. Respect for your level of fitness mate I didn't think you were 48 👊💪
Well done on getting the wifey up to scratch haha not sure my gf will be so willing 🤣
I’m thoroughly inspired to get my a**e in gear and have a go at Hyrox in January. Thanks for the motivation Mark and keep the fantastic content coming 👍
Just been watching some of your older videos again.
Got me wondering what is Jen doing for recovery? Does she use any of the things you have recommended in the past? Power dot, compresson boots, massage gun?
Loving the content keep it going.
Mark could you do a “beginners supplement” guide. Love the videos and trust your content. Really hard to know the difference between protein powders etc for us non experts. Loving the updates as always
loving the 'Next Jen' content.. really good to see the process and progress is always a win 🤟

Las elecciones cinematográficas y artísticas son brillantes. Referencias culturales europeas realmente interesantes. Ojalá la cultura europea se representara más a menudo tan bellamente. No puedo dejar de decir "oh, esto es hermoso" a lo largo del video. Luz, en serio… el que se encargue de la iluminación, genia

Mate, I just got to say that I am really enjoying the channel. I found you when I was researching a Kickr Bike to upgrade from my Kickr Core as I was retiring the bike for good. I’ve since watched a load of your videos. You and your journey are an inspiration to me! I’ve been a similar path since November last year. I bought the Kickr and starting Zwifting through the winter. I’ve lost weight, toned up and gained power. I bought a Garmin watch and now suddenly I care about how many steps I do and I actually go for walks! Without being dramatic, it’s changed my life.
I’m a loooooong way behind you and will still probably never run or go to a gym, but I love riding my bike indoors and outside and collecting those load points. I love the humour and the 80’s action movie scenes! I’ve now also started using your secret weapon… The Rocky Soundtrack! I used it today and won a sprint on Zwift! Coincidence? I don’t think so.
Thanks, Mark. Keep the content coming.
"She is goint to be fitter than me" that fear in your eyes😧🤠😎
Hey Mark,
Beautiful GPZ900R.
I found you through your annual vegan update video. I'm in my mid-thirties and although in the past I've been an absolute cardio and fitness nut, I had been on somewhat of a fitness hiatus the last couple years. Still fairly fit but noticed my riding jacket fitting a little tighter when hopping on my own z900 😉 I was a huge meat eater and recently adopted a plant-based diet. This was something I didn't do in the past, despite being a biologist and working for one of the two (now) huge fake meat startups for nearly a decade. I'm really loving eating like this so far and miss eating meat and dairy far less than I thought I would.
I love your attitude and approach to things. You seem to be very live and let live while clearly an empathetic individual and still not the stereotypical sniveling vegan. This space needs more people like you. Really cool, man. Anyway, I mostly wanted to say thanks for the inspiration. Keep it up and best of luck to you and your YouTube channel!
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
You're punching above?
“So should I take credit for the whole YouTube thing then…..Right we’re done here” 😂🫡. Nearly spit out my coffee! All the best from NY. Good luck 🍀 with Hyrox comp coming up .
Beautiful couple, mainly because they are striving to be better together. Also, no crazy changes but realistic so that women don't get dissapointed and give up. It's all about the process and consistency. Awesome.
Loving the sense of humour on this channel 👍👍
Great video. My wife would never do this. She is reasonably fit but has less than zero willpower, unless it involves making me do something.
57 here most couldnt train with me.
see you guys there
