That’s how I did it. Started with a small meal for breakfast or lunch, then dinner. To where I am now. One boiled egg to settle my stomach in the morning/early afternoon, then my meal for dinner.

Well, if you stop drinking your coffee in the morning and wait until 90 minutes after you wake up, then you’ll have no Chris in the afternoon and you can easily do OMAD

This is what I do but not by choice. I've been smoking weed daily for about 12-13 years and a few years in I lost my appetite entirely. I only eat one meal a day at dinner time and I barely snack during the day. Some days I don't really eat at all. I do have a high metabolism, but I'm sure a big reason I'm not fat is because I don't eat unless I'm stoned.
I’ve never heard of OMAD?!? I do this regularly because I’m just too darn busy and I’m simply not hungry otherwise! I rarely eat breakfast, eat lunch at 12pm or 1pm, and that’s it!

Mankind has been eating like that far longer than "3 meals a day is optimal" b.s. Food corporations dont agree for obvious reasons. Just focus on what you eat if youre gonna do omad and youll be surprised how healthier youll be.

This doesn't work for me. I have a very high metabolism and when I only eat that much I end up weighing 130 pounds soaking wet.
I eat 6 meals a day and snacks and get a lot of protein. Now I'm 185 pounds of solid muscle.
Definitely not wanting to be skinny and frail again. I like being strong
Intermittent fasting…
I want to do that because I feel tired after eating, I don't like that sensation so I would prefer eat before go to sleep

How does this go with weight training around 2 to 4 pm then eating when I get home about 5pm

So a couple of things I’d suggest:
A. I’d had have acute GERD, due to not having enough gastric acid producing, I believe.
Peristalsis was not ready for the large intake of food, I’d consume when breaking my intermittent fasting.
Anecdotally, I’ve noted that drinking about 5-7 oz of hot water with natural acidic component (mostly either or combo of organic ACV/lemon juice/honey) and ginger (sometimes even turmeric and black pepper extract) about 5 to 10 minutes before eating a heavy meal, has been a game changer!
B. Also know the way you eat food and its order. When I eat, fiber, protein, fats complex to simple carbs I feel that my insulin doesn’t spike as much and I feel less sluggish after eating.
C. Lastly, I avoid chugging heavy amounts of water while eating. But I do drink a lot of water 30 minutes before eating and 30 minutes to 45 minutes after.
Again, don’t know what ones’ experience would be. I would say, always check with dedicated providers and specialties for more personal care for the individual, but these have helped me personally! 😊

Reading through some of the comments, I have concluded that people are losing because they are on a caloric deficit. I have never tried OMAD, Keto or other such diets for weight lost. I have been able to lose 8-10 pounds successfully per month eating 3 small healthy meals and 1 or 2 healthy small snacks per day. For example, if my daily caloric need for weight loss is 1,600 calories, I can spread those calories out however I choose throughout my day or eat 1,600 calories in one meal (OMAD). It appears the different methods of losing weight always come down to caloric deficit even if you’re not keeping up with counting your calories. I don’t believe diet gurus can make money off the old way of losing weight. So they come out with different new methods for weight loss, but it all comes down to the same thing, calories in, calories out! Whatever method you choose to do is ok: keto, OMAD, intermittent fasting, food exchange, vegan, vegetarian, low carb, no sugar, fruit diet, Dr. Atkins, Mediterranean, 5:2 Diet, low fat, calorie counting, and the list goes on. At the end of the day, whatever you choose, I believe you will be operating in a caloric deficit even if you are not aware of it! I wonder what new diet they will dream up next! Choose what works for you. Just be healthy, happy, and live long and strong! ❤😊
