Don't listen to this bullshit. Weightlifting doesn't burn many calories.
Just do upper/lower body split routine this is fool proof only 4 workout days a week got good results from it and more free time
That's a bad advice, weight training does not make you burn so many calories, so there's no so much difference between 4d/45 min a week and 5d/1h. Plus if you're optimal split is going to take time, just do it and eat more.

Train as much as you’d like, just as long as you’re getting adequate intensity and calories. Train hard, eat hard, sleep hard.
I am doing two/three x 45 minutes plus runs and then just eating lots of chicken. Mainly because I like hot sauce. Only done the strength training for a few weeks and I already feel amazing
