I agree that trading an arms dealer for a wnba player is most certainly not an even trade, and itโs extremely silly when there are 10s of thousands of people in American prisons for similar offenses. But viktor bout is not the worlds most prolific arms dealer. That would be the U.S. government lol
Waiting an hour, hour and a half after waking up before taking caffeine also helps keep your tolerance of caffeine lower.
10:06 Super cool to see you guys address caffeine timing after waking up, for the most part you've only really addressed cutting it a certain amount of time before bedtime. Also, thanks to you all, I completely cycled off of caffeine a few months ago, for a full month, and it worked out great.
So yeah, I forget if I read it somewhere or it was a YT video but a few years ago I heard it was good to avoid caffeine too soon after waking because it interferes with your body's natural mechanism of waking up and partitioning energy. I distinctly remember four hours after waking being the sweet spot, but at the soonest it should be no less than an hour after waking. What I do personally is maybe have a green tea two hours after waking and some black coffee three to four hours after waking. Also, as you all have mentioned, I try my best to avoid all forms of caffeine (coffee, cola, black and green tea, chocolate) about eight hours before bed. All in all, this gives me about a four-hour window I consume caffeine during the day, and I find it's worked out great for me in terms getting great sleep and not having a hard time getting going in the morning. I also have to admit it's super validating hearing this talked about by you all! Thanks for another great episode.
I push it to 120 minutes with caffeine, however I have a bigger issue maybe? I take my 32oz mug and another 20oz mug to work every day.
I'm a truck driver, if I worked at an office, I'd drink coffee probably all day until 2pm. I listened to Andrew and don't drink caffeine after that but caffeine is so addictive.

Being on TRT will increase libido if you lower your workout volume or not so was this libido increase while not being on TRT or anything
The other tip from huberman was to have your last caffeine drink before 2pm – total game changer in terms of sleep. Half life of caffeine is 5-6 hours, so it's circulating longer than you think!

I read the reason people have lactose problems is because the milk is processed now a days to have a longer shelf life. So the enzymes our body needs to digest the lactose are removed. This is why there isnโt a layer of cream on top of the milk anymore also. Most people with lactose problems can drink raw cows milk and have zero problems. It has all the natural elements in it that allows our body to process it. Babies would have died a long time ago if they had all of these โallergiesโ people have now. Milk straight from the cow was all they had. Just an interesting thought.

Bummed you guys brought up the Brittney Griner situation and neglected to mention how there is another American over there. We chose to leave Paul Whelan behind….
